Just in case you guys didn't know, The F/A-18D Hornet that crashed into those homes in San Diego yesterday killed three people in a Korean family. This is truly sad so I hope they get down to the grit of what went wrong with the fighter jet. I'm sure the defense department is pretty embarrassed about this whole ordeal, but when you crash government planes in residential homes, something's gone seriously wrong.
Three people — a mother, her baby and a grandmother — were killed in one house and officials said a fourth person, believed to be a small child, was in the house and had not been found. The search for the child had been suspended during the night.
The San Diego County medical examiner's office has not officially released the names of the victims. The Rev. Kevin Lee of the Korean United Methodist Church identified those killed as Young Mi Yoon, who was in her mid-30s; her 2-month-old daughter, Rachel; and her mother, Suk Im Kim, who had recently arrived from South Korea to help care for her daughter's newborn.
There's also a 15-month old child that's still missing. This really gets under my skin.
UPDATE 1: The body of the fifteen-month old has just been found.
UPDATE 2: Okay, this really breaks my heart to see that this family, which had recently moved into the neighborhood, has to see tragedy strike them in such an unfortunate turn of events. Let's be clear, you're inside the safety of your own home and minding your own business for the most part. You have a two-month old and a fifteen-month old that are being nursed by the mother and the grandmother while the husband is at work. Next thing you know, a plane that's designed and intended to provide safety to your country and your community all of a sudden comes crashing into your block out of nowhere. Then goes three generations of your family. I'm at a loss for words.

That is really sad. Three generations killed in one quick moment. Really sad.
Oh no, this is horrible... just so tragic. Thanks so much for reporting this.
That is very very sad what happened. It was just out of no where too. My heart goes out to the guy who lost his family.
